The Song Library is the foundation of ServiceAssistant’s intelligent service planning. It stores your church’s songs and their metadata, enabling the AI to provide contextual song suggestions based on your service themes, scripture, and usage history. This comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know about building and managing your song library.

What is the Song Library?

The Song Library is your personal collection of worship songs that ServiceAssistant uses to generate intelligent suggestions for your services.

Accessing Your Song Library

Navigate to the Song Library page from the main navigation. Here you’ll see:

  • Total count of songs in your library

  • Search functionality to find specific songs

  • Options to add new songs or upload from Planning Center

  • List of all your songs with last scheduled information

Adding Songs to Your Library

Method 1: Manual Entry

  1. Click the “Add Song(s)” button

  2. Enter song titles in the text area, one per line

  3. Click “Add Songs” to save them to your library

Features:

  • Add multiple songs at once

  • Duplicate detection prevents adding songs that already exist

Method 2: Planning Center CSV Upload

  1. Click “Upload CSV from Planning Center” button

  2. Drag and drop your CSV file or click to browse

  3. The system automatically parses the file and extracts song titles
